I grew up in the 80s (and 90s), the decade of big hair and great bands and fun music.

The other day while dd and I were cooking, we blasted the 80s channel on the TV and danced to non-stop favorites from my, um, younger years. Heh. Anyway, between Journey’s DON’T STOP BELIEVING, Rick Springfield’s JESSIE’S GIRL and lots of other favorites, we had a blast.

Now for the blog…. I’m always on the hunt for new music to listen to while I walk. I like a variety of music but when I exercise the music has to be fast, upbeat and fun. You know what the next questions are going to be, don’t you?

I have a really bad habit. When I hear a song I like, I’ll play it over and over again–until I’m sick of it. *sigh* anhit: So now I’m in the need of new songs to listen to. Anyone have any suggestions? I like allll kinds of music. What I need the most is something to listen to as I walk. Something upbeat and fun.

The countdown is on for the release of SHE’S THE ONE! Have you seen it in your neck of the woods yet??? It’s not due out until March 16 but sometimes the stores put the out early. Let me know when you see it, okay?

I can’t seem to muster up the energy for much of anything today, especially trying to think up something fun and entertaining to blog about. It just ain’t happening. :bookslp: So instead I thought I’d post a link to Pink’s AMAZING performance at the 2010 Grammy Awards. In a word–WOW. I’ve always liked Pink’s tough girl persona but here she not only shows her soft side but her feminine side as well. Check it out here.

Okay, for those of you watching…what do you think??? Who do you believe will be the next American Idol?

Out of the guys–Casey James. Yeah, he has a cuteness factor but the boy can sing and he will hopefully stick with songs that showcase that.

The girls, on the other hand… I like Katie but totally agree that she needs to be 17 with her song choice. I also like Soibhan (spelling?).

And Ellen as the new judge??? Lovin’ that! She is too, too funny. But what is up with Kara and Simon? Those two were creeping me out last night.

Thoughts? Who is your pick after the first performances?
