Job security

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

I’m am so happy! Today I found out I will have job security for the next little while–in the form of a four book contract. Whoo! In this economy there are no guarantees, especially for authors, so I’m feelin’ VERY blessed at the moment.

As to what the books will be about? Cowboy We’re headin’ back to Montana! LOL Yes, Montana. I loved writing MONTANA SECRETS and MONTANA SKIES but I had to give the kids who appeared in those stories time to grow up, two in particular. Anyone wanna take a guess as to which two???

I’ll choose a winner from those who respond and send one lucky person an autographed copy of SIMON SAYS MOMMY, my current release.

Grab your hat and boots! Cowboy Cowboy Cowboy Cowboy

A fall evening

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

It’s gorgeous outside. The crickets and frogs are doing their thing, the sky is clear, the air cool and fresh. Fall has arrived, at least for tonight. I love fall. I love the cooler temps and the way things seem quiet, like they’re settling down for a deep sleep come winter. I think fall is my favorite time of year. It’s still warm but not hot, not cold, either. It’s still green, with colorful flowers and gourds and pumpkins making a show.

So what about you? What’s your favorite season of the year?

Something very cool

Friday, September 4th, 2009

I love Harlequin’s new feature Browse the Book. The first TWO chapters of SIMON SAYS MOMMY are listed here. Be sure to check it out.

As to what I’m doing this weekend??? Cry Stripping wallpaper. Help me!!! OMG WHY did I think putting it up was a good idea? Shoot. Me. NOW. I’d bow out of it and put it off as I’ve done the last couple of years but it’s ds’s room and the update is part of his birthday present. I can’t put it off any longer.

Soooooo, anyone have any ideas on how to get the paper down easily? How to get the goo/glue off the walls? Any volunteers??? Clown
