Taxes and Girl Scout Cookies
Amazing how those two things go together but in my house, they do. This week my living room floor was covered in cases of cookies. Not boxes. CASES. Oh, the smell. YUM. So tempting. Especially since we’re trying to get our tax information ready and that is always a stressful time for us no matter how much we try to prepare.
I’ve been quiet lately. So sorry about that. I’m working. Exercising. Playing. Generally doing things to refill the creative well and keep the words flowing. So, blogging takes a backseat, unfortunately. But I miss you guys and if you ever want to post or send me a note, please do. Just use the contact link. And if you ever have a subject about writing or books you want addressed, just ask. Coming up with topics isn’t always easy.
On a good note, we survived the massive storms/tornado system that came through out area tonight. Our county was hit but we were far enough away to be spared the worst of it, thank God. My heart breaks for those in the path of those tornadoes. The damage is unreal.
Have you read any great books lately? If so please share! I recently finished Black Ties and Lullabyes by Jane Graves. It was fabulous! I’ll have to pick up more books by this author.
Stay dry!

I am glad that you are safe and sound and i hope all those in the path of these tornadoes are too..
I just sent all my paperwork to my accountant today. He does mine plus my mother’s and as she passed away last May, we have to close out her estate once the taxes are done.. Will seem very final for us now..
I just finished reading Deadline by Fern Michaels. It is the last in her Godmother’s series. I enjoyed them..
I am now reading Night Moves by Stephanie Tyler… it is the 4th book in her Shadow Force books…
Have a good weekend…

Oh thank heavens you’re safe. I was watching TV and tracking the storm and knew bad stuff was coming your way. I almost sent you an email asking if you were okay, but then I checked here…
I’ve been reading Shiloh Walker’s Ash Trilogy. I figure I see her at booksignings often enough I should buy one of her books and I did (book 1). I have to get book 3, but the first two were good. Pacing slower in book 2, but it had to be to be true to the heroine.
Anyway, glad you and your family are safe. My heart and prayers go out to those who were in the middle of it.

Thanks for the concern, gals. Much appreciated.
Marcy, I love Stephanie Tyler books. I have several of them and keep meaning to get her latest series but haven’t managed it yet.
On another note, I’m still sorting receipts etc and trying to plot a bit on my next project. I’m in revision mode but I’m changing some things around and I need to make a visual to keep on track. Sigh. It’s always something. LOL
Take care!
