Where would you like to live?
A new poll was released recently about the best/happiest places to live. The study asked questions about health, professional happiness/job satisfaction, weather, social interaction and availability etc. The results?
Hawaii: 70.2
Utah: 68.3
Montana: 68.3
Minnesota: 67.8
Iowa: 67.6
Vermont: 67.4
Colorado: 67.3
Alaska: 67.3
North Dakota: 67.3
Kansas: 67.2
Don’t know about you but ever since making a trip to Hawaii, I’ve wanted to sell all of my possessions, pack my shorts and go back to stay. The fact that it ranks number 1 does not surprise me. What does surprise me are the ‘cold’ states, but then you also know how I feel about cold weather :veracold: so I have a definite bias. LOL
Is your state on the list? Do you have a place in mind where, if you could, you’d pick up roots and transplant yourself?

Minnesota, the land of Laura Ingalls Wilder, was lovely to drive through with all of the picturesque lakes. Northeastern Montana, where I lived for two months, is desolate and sparsely populated. I believe that those voting in the poll were most likely referring to western Montana’s mountains and ski slopes.
While I like to travel to new places, I’ve always liked my home state, Kentucky. Four seasons, beautiful scenery, family and home make it the place I most like to be.

I didn’t expect GA to make the list but I can’t think of anywhere else I’d want to live. I love our four seasons and that our winter is not too cold. Now visit – I still want to visit Hawaii! I would also like to drive through some of the western states.

Normally I like Living in Cinti, I love the change of seasons. But right now I would have to vote for Hawaii. I am so tired of this snow and more is coming. JOY
