Montana SecretsMontana Secrets

“I have been an avid reader for 20+ years...mostly romance, but I like to throw in a few mysteries now and then. ;) I just finished reading Montana Secrets, but will have to read it again because it was such an awesome book, I finished it in one day! Personally, I can relate with Grace. I became sooo involved with "their" life; and a realization hit me today...if she can find love again...maybe there's still hope for me. My past has haunted me for way too long now, and like Grace, I've sought the professional help of counselors...but still can't seem to get over it. I feel like I'm on the brink of a breakthrough...but can't quite grab a hold of it. Montana Secrets has helped me during a tough time in my life, and I have you to thank for it!” - Melissa

“I picked up Montana Secrets on a trip to Wal-Mart yesterday about 3 p.m. I had finished it by 11 last night. And that includes fixing dinner and playing chauffeur to my kids. I enjoyed the story so much I couldn't put it down. And as an aspiring author myself, I know the value of that. You handled a delicate subject wonderfully. Cudos!

Congrats on your first published book. I like your style and will look forward to reading your next one.” - Mindy

“She told me about your book and I bought it. I read it last night and I was very impressed.I couldn't put it down. I think you are very talented and I do believe that you will be another Sandra Brown...” - Connie

“Just read your first book, Montana Secrets. I could hardly put it down. You rate right up there with Debbie Macomber. That is high praise from me as I really enjoy reading Debbie. Thank you and hope you continue.” - Gay R.

“I've just finished Montana Secrets and wanted to let you know (as I'm sure many others have already) that it's a wonderful book. It's wonderfully written and crafted and it deals with a very difficult subject in a very respectful yet emotionally dramatic way.”  - Elaine

“I wanted to tell you how much I really enjoyed Montana Secrets. I even went back and reread Montana Skies. I love your stories. Thank you again for sharing them.” - Mary Ann

“Well, a girl can hope. I'll keep sending "Brent vibes" your way. Meantime, I'm looking forward to the other books on your 2007 lineup and will await some insight into the Tulanes of Tennessee. Thanks for keeping in touch.” - Sheila

"I have just finished reading Montana Secrets and let me tell you I really enjoyed every word. I picked up your book which my son had given to me a while back and started to flick through the pages and could not put it down. Thank you for your well written book...I was able to let myself get right into the book and forget my troubles while I was reading it. Thank you once again." - Vittoria

Man With A PastMan With A Past

"Kay, I just finished reading your book Man With A Past. I just loved Ashley and Joe! I cried when the town's people were treating Joe so badly, and was unbelievably happy when Ashley declared her unconditional love for him. I was wondering if you have written a follow up book, that may include Joe's brother coming home. I hope to be reading your story about Jack soon." - Gloria

"The characters were all so real, so wonderful. I teared up several times while reading even though I knew they weren't real...they became living, breathing people to me. You not only layered them so amazingly, you did the same with the story. You had every event right where it belonged... and I loved your use of so much detail in this book. The strong senses, the scenery surrounding them, the sights and smells. It was all there making it more realistic than ever, giving me the feeling of being there. Word painting. This is a book I will never forget, like some of my other favorites such as Morning Glory and Sentimental Journey. I understand what the editors are looking for when they "fresh voice", because no one writes like Kay Stockham!" - gbox

"I just finished "Man with a Past" and it was wonderful. I was wondering if you were going to write a book about Joe's brother Jack?" - Catherine S.

"Great book. You write such moving stories." - Barb S

"I just finished reading Man With a Past and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this book. I always enjoy the books I read that deal with real-life situations that people are facing every day, and this one was very moving. As a teacher for 22 years, I have seen my share of suspected child abuse cases, and am often put in the situation of trying to decide what is or has been happening and whether it is something I must report. Since guidelines have firmed up in the last few years, it is a little easier to make that call. But, I still worry if things have been misinterpreted, if there isn't more than just the suspicions of abuse. We have, unfortunately, become a very suspicious society. We tend to quickly look for the worst rather than try and find the truth. This book really expressed that idea very well.... We live with the judgments of others on us daily, so this book really spoke to me. Thank you for treating this subject with understanding and sensitivity. I have always enjoyed your books, but found it fitting that I finished reading this one on Mother's Day. I hope I can look forward to Jack's story - revisit Joe and Ashley at the same time!" - Dolores

"I just wanted to drop off a quick note before I hit the sack to tell you I loved your book. Its another winner. Joe and Ashley really pulled at the heartstrings. What a wonderfully moving and sexy book. The complete package. I could go on and on but the bed is calling me. LOL Just keep up the great work. So what is next for you? Is Melissa or Jack getting a story?" - Judy

"I had to write and let you know how much I enjoyed "Man With a Past". I picked it up yesterday and couldn't put it down! I love the way you wove everything so tightly together. I just read your article on 'the little things' and have to say, you do a stand up job. .... but for me, your book has been an eye opener and a definite "I want to write like that" kinda book. I love the way you took a very serious issue, made it so real in the life of your characters, used drama but were still able to have those lighthearted moments.... Thanks for a wonderful read and a fabulous example of a well-told story." - Darcy

I must start off by saying this is unusual for me to actually sit down to "write/email" an author... Your book "Man With A Past" really drew me in. I could not put the book down and must have read it in a day and a half. Joe Brody and Ashley Cade truly "jumped" off the pages. When I checked out your site.. great site by the way.. I noticed your other book "Montana Secrets" which was also great. You truly have a way with making your characters feel like they are a part of my life. I feel like they should be joining me for dinner and drinks. :o) ...I read on your blog you are currently writing Melissa's story (Yeah.. that was my first request) but I want to know about Jack???? If Jack is Melissa's hero - great... BUT if not then I really need you to get another book out of this series because I am dying to know!!! :o) Keep up the GREAT work! - Angie A.

I wrote to you a couple weeks ago about His Perfect Woman after meeting you in Kingsport. I got on Amazon and bought the book you noted that introduced the characters and I love this one, too! I have emotional connections in that I am married to a Joe who is dark haired. I picked up the book to read after lunch today and finished a little after 9. I could only stand to put it down to run one errand and eat supper with one of my boys! I guess I'll have to get all your books and find times I can devote to reading. (my husband is on a trip and says I get too engrossed in good books!) Keep it coming! Thanks, Becky

Montana SkiesMontana Skies

"I am a new reader of the Romance genre. Congrats! on Montana Skies. It is the best I have yet read...
After reading Montana Skies, I feel I have found a "gold standard" against which I will always measure my own writing.
What a pleasure it was to read in every way. Most of these Romances have the most preposterous storylines and characters (i.e. After winning Miss Universe and inheriting $50 million, who would have thought I'd fall for the President of the U.S. ...blah blah groan).
Montana Skies sucked me right in and I literally couldn't put it down.
Thank you for a delightful journey I could believe and a wonderful example of what good Romance writing should be." - R. Johnson

"You're one of my recent discoveries. I just wanted to let you know that I loved Montana Skies, and look forward to reading many more of your books." - B. Braunstein

"Been wanting to tell you how much I loved Montana Skies.... It was wonderful--and so full of the detail that I love. You sent me there with your descriptions of the setting and the deep emotions. I love being able to visualize where they are as well as feeling their emotions--Great job!" - Glenna

"I had started reading some of the more erotic books that are available now, by some of my favorite authors and it was just getting to much for me. I so needed to read a story like you said from your heart to mine. I needed to read something that there was a good story to think about and feel good reading. I also liked the light references to God that you made. Thank you for such touching stories, and I cant wait to read the next book, especially with such a matter close to all of us women's heart, breast cancer... hank you again for such a great book that let me feel better about reading again.." Mary

"Loved it!--I laughed or cried on every single page!" - BJ

Montana Skies His Perfect Woman

"I just finished your book “His Perfect Woman” I was lucky enough to have it in my goody bag. “His Perfect Woman” was the first book I?ve ever read where the heroine had cancer. What a wonderful story, you dealt with the issue of cancer
in a courageous manner. That disease isn?t a stranger to me, my mother had it and beat it, my father had it and beat it. My best friend had it and while it was the ultimate cause of her death she didn?t let it beat her. She's one of the main reasons I'm a writer today. She believed in me before I believed in myself. Her strength, courage, and humor are with me 12 years later while I continue to write.

Thanks for a great book it brought back many happy memories of people I
loved." - J.Paulette

"I finished reading His Perfect Woman last night (started it Sunday).  I
wanted to get to the end to see what happens, but I didn't want the book to
end!  Make sense?  When you signed it at the Get Together book fair, you
wrote "Hope it was worth the wait" - oh yeah it was.
Awesome job!" -Marcie

"Just thought you would want to know *Grins* I loved HIS PERFECT WOMAN!! J  The interplay between Melissa and Bryan is fast paced, yet they don’t fall into bed on page 2!  They are great characters that you made come to life with energetic writing and humorous situations that develop quickly!" - Angie

"I just finished His Perfect Woman and I have to tell you, it was FANTASTIC!" - Liz

"I just wanted to let you know that I finished His Perfect Woman this morning.  The book is still playing in my head.  I stayed off of the computer all day yesterday because I was so involved in the book. (I can't even remember the last time that I was so engrossed in a book that I didn't want to put it down!)  It is one of the best books that I have ever read.  The emotions that it provoked were so strong that I felt as I was there participating throughout the book. Keep up the great writing!" - Jodi

"I've had to take a couple of days after finishing HIS PERFECT WOMAN to digest all of the emotions that it brought to the surface.  You've done an excellent job writing Melissa as the slightly damaged and yes, maybe even a little fragile, heroine, but her pride and determination were equally well-written. Bryan was a perfect match for her; I love how his "womanizing" ways are quickly brought to heel after Melissa reenters his life. I was a little disappointed that she didn't embrace her father's romance early on, but reminded myself that had I been through so many losses and heartaches, I might regret losing the main man, so to speak, in my life to another woman too.  I had to remind myself that these are simply characters, as they were wonderfully brought to life in your book." - Laurie

"What a great story, learning to live for tomorrow. Melissa is so
strong , yet so vulnerable.  Booger Booker is something else, but a truly
wonderful man. I have enjoyed all your books and enjoy the continuation of
Man with a Past, with baby Isabella. You are a great writer, keep the
stories coming." - Suzanne B.

"I can't tell you what a truly moving and enthralling story you created for Melissa and Bryan.  I have been an avid reader since I can remember and have always enjoyed Harlequin productions, but my feelings have never run through the spectrum of emotions the way they did when getting to know the inhabitants of Taylorsville.  I did not read Man With a Past, but it will be one of my next purchases….  Joe and Ashley were so supportive of Melissa, I can't wait to see how their life together started..

When I began sobbing…  deep gasping sobs that left me drained after reading only a portion of this remarkable tale, I knew that I was hooked….  Hooked on Melissa, hooked on Bryan and hooked on Kay Stockham.  I await your next release with baited breath.   And in the meantime I have 3 other stories to catch up on  :-)

Thank you for sharing your gift with the world…. " - Risa

"I believe this is the first book of yours I've read.  It will not be the last.  And to be honest, I bought it primarily so I could answer your contest questions.  I wasn't sure how I was going to identify with a heroine who is a breast cancer survivor.  I was extremely doubtful about how YOU were going to make me believe a near-perfect-looking man was going to give a woman like Melissa a second glance, let alone fall so deeply in love with her.  But somewhere along the way, not only did you convince me that Bryan was head-over-heels in love with Melissa, I became his strongest supporter.  Instead of only feeling sympathy for Melissa and the trials she had endured, I found myself in Bryan's corner, rooting for him to find the words and/or actions necessary to convince Melissa what a truly beautiful woman she was and that she was worthy of his love.  I also lost a lot of sleep reading this story; I was up until 1:30 a.m. this morning because I could not put the book down until they had achieved their happy ending.  Not only was Melissa "His Pefect Woman", this story was "A Pefect Read" for me.  I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it.  You've earned yourself another fan." - Cheryl

"The others have been good but I can't put "His Perfect Woman" down.  I started it yesterday and along with everything else that I had to do, I read 158 pages.  It is by far the best one yet.  Keep up the good work." - Winnie

"I just finished reading HIS PERFECT WOMAN and wanted to let you know how much I thoroughly enjoyed reading Bryan and Melissa's beautiful and touching story.  The story was so full and rich.  I don't think I've ever read a book where the heroine was so hard to win over, but it sure made for a very interesting read.  I look forward to reading more of your books since HIS PERFECT WOMAN is the first of your books I've read.  But it won't be the last!" - Jeanette

"Bought and finished His Perfect Wife this weekend.  It was wonderful.  I loved how you used a Romance to bring real issues with breast cancer to the forefront.  Kudos to you.  My sister-in law recently lost her battle.  While the book was difficult at times, I loved what you did with her issues, and of course his responses.  Both Bryan and Nate, at the end, made some wonderful statements.  Thanks for the book." -  Cora

"I thought I'd let you know that my 4th of July was spent reading "His Perfect Woman" from cover to cover.  What a great book.  Like "Man with a Past," you took a difficult subject and wrapped an engrossing love story around it." - Sheila

"I'm a reader and fan from Northern Kentucky.  I finally got to read His Perfect Woman over the weekend and I had to send you a note to let you know how much I enjoyed it.  I am so glad that you decided to write Melissa's story.  She so deserved a happy ending!  I was also happy to see Joe and Ashley again." - Angie

"So, yes, I am so impatient that when a customer brought in her large print subscription copy of HIS PERFECT WOMAN I had to take it home and start reading right away--never mind the fact I've ordered my own brand-new copy that still hasn't arrived at our store for inventory.  Anyway.....I finished it on Friday and have to say I loved it!  Of course, since I loved all the others, I expected to love it, and I wasn't disappointed.  Wow!  What a look into the mind, heart and soul of a young woman who has experienced such trauma and loss at a young age!

"Of course, the only problem now is that I have read it and will have to wait for your next book for MONTHS!  I mean, it's not like I have nothing to read since I'm working in a used book store, but you know how it is with favorite authors.  So, please just keep those stories coming.

"I'm taking the used copy back to the store along with a couple copies of MAN WITH A PAST that I found at a used book sale this weekend and can't wait to introduce you to some new readers.  Hope you sell many, many copies of HIS PERFECT WOMAN--and all your books to come." - Sheila

Montana Skies A Christmas To Remember

Hi!  I want to start out this email by letting you know that this is the first time I've actually written to an author.  I totally love your books!  I normally read Nora Roberts' books, but I decided to widen my interests.  Well last month I randomly picked up one of your books (Man With A Past), and it interested me from the first page!  Needless to say, I couldn't put it down and I finished it within a few hours.  I thought to myself "Hmm this lady is a darn good writer".  So I remembered your name and when I went to Walmart last night I checked to see if you had any new books out and I was glad that I found one.  So I just finished A Christmas To Remember and I love it too!  Now I can't wait to look for your past and future books so I can read them too.  Thank you so much for telling such a great story.  It's so nice to escape from my day to day life sometimes.

Thanks again,
Kim

Kay,
This is one of the best books I have ever read, because it had depth. I would not have bought this book if it was not recommended. Mainly, because I would have thought Harlequin, Christmas to rememeber..hmmm boy meets girl and thats why its a christmas to remember LOL!!!

So many times you buy a book and its so predictable. Thats what I loved about your book how unpredictable it was. You said it took a lot of thinkin I believe it. It was that kind of book that the reader knows you share part of your soul. I know you had to spend a lot of thought into it.

I just wanted to thank-you so much from the bottom of my heart for giving me some hours of entertainment. Perhaps, you don't think of the other side where the reader comes in but sometimes a reader has problems that she wants to escape, bills, work whatever and she picks up a book and hope it allows her to escape and your book did just that!
I thank-you for your talent!
Sarita

"I purchased your book at the Kingsport Womens Expo on Saturday and finished the book that night.   I could not put it down.  It was the best romance novel I have read in a while.

Thank you so much for signing both it and the novel His Perfect Woman.   I just finished that as well.

I have looked at your website and it is very elegant.

I will be ordering your previous novels as well as any that you will write in the future." - Cathy

"What an awesome story!!!!!!!!!!!It really had me going about Beau, I
didn't realize it was Jack until Barry did. You are a super writer, all your
stories are great. I was so glad Marley had a fresh start with Jack. The
ending with Joe and Pop was a 3 tissue moment.  Thanks for the great story.
I look forward to more of them. Great writing." - Suzanne B.

Note from Kay: I won't tell Suz Brockmann about this, (WINK!) but I had to post this note from a reader because it absolutely made my day. Thank YOU! :)

"I was so thrilled with your new book, "A Christmas to Remember."  You always manage to capture all the emotions involved in people's lives.  Being greedy, I was wishing for just a little more of a glimpse at the Brody family reunion, and yet I understand why it was good to end it with just the brief hint we got.

Of course, now the questions begin about Clay and Angel.  Will you develop their involvement into a full-blown story--or have we already seen too much of them?  Now I can't wait for those folks from Tennessee to hit the bookstore shelves.

As a book person I feel compelled to share with you the fact that I had gotten my copy of Suzanne Brockmann's Christmas novella about a week before your books came in at the used book store where I help.  I was reading a library hardback (Iris Johansen's new one) at the time and so finished it first.  I'd been checking our supplier's website daily to see when your book would arrive, but it hadn't come by the time I finished the library book.  I was getting ready to read the Brockmann novella when your books came in:-).  Please don't tell Suz that I set hers aside without even starting it to read yours!  I just couldn't wait to learn about Jack.

May your holidays be blessed and your writing go smoothly so that we get all the books possible in 2008!" - Sheila

"Hi Kay, I received A Christmas to Remember last week. I finally got a chance to read it over the weekend and loved it. Now I am waiting on my order to come in where I ordered the first book that goes with A Christmas to Remember. Thank you again for the book. I really love it." -  Amy

"I wish to thank you for a very, very, enjoyable read.   I couldn't put it down and I just finished reading the book and it is 4:30 A.M. on Wed before Thanksgiving.

"I was a high school senior during the Vietnam  war and I know first hand what it was like to have family and friends  go there and   for some to not   return to us again.  I still have friends who cannot talk about the  horrors of war and they still have nightmares.   I have also had family that were in accidents and they  had  temporary loss of memory and  it was a frightening  thing for all of us.

"Your story was so real that I felt that I knew these characters and was living through this with them.   It  was so  moving and  seemed to be happeining  now.   I have  friends who have been over there in Iraq and  it was a very  long  year   waiting and worrying if they would return to us  safe and  sound.

"Thank you for  writing  such a wonderful  book and  I  have always been   a big fan of Christmas  stories and   happy endings.   There   are few books   that  I read that   I   hope  that   they are  real and   that   it is just the start of   their  lives together and   that   it  will always   be   a  very happy life .

"I just wanted to  tell you thank you and I hope to read more stories from you." -  Kathy

"Kay - In the beginning, I kept thinking that Harlequin had made a horrible mistake - the reader letter said it was Jack's story, but where was Jack?  Had they gotten the wrong reader letter mixed up with a different book?  But when I finally got myself to quit worrying about it and just let myself sink into the story, I became totally engrossed.  What a great way to save Jack from being the loser brother who skipped out in "Man with A Past."   As a writer, I kept wondering how you did such a great job of portraying the frustration of someone with amnesia.  Most of the time, however, I was just lost in the story---which is the whole idea, right?  I have high hopes that this book will make it to the Rita finals, like Joe's story did." - Sheila

"Ms. Stockham, I just finished reading "A Christmas to Remember" and I wanted you to know what a wonderful story I thought it was!

"I really like stories which have a good story but which also has characters that you really like and care about.  I really enjoyed Jack and Marley and walking through their good and bad times.  It is a charming Christmas story that I will want to read it again in years to come.

"Merry Christmas to you and your family.  Thank you for contributing to mine." Patricia

Dear Kay, I don't often write to authors - this is a first actually but I have really gone off HM&B lately because the books have deteriorated so much - all
genre - but you my good friend wrote a book to remember when you wrote A Christmas To Remember. I don't really need a blow by blow account of some other person's sexual encounter nor yet unending details of their every emotion. I like some of the above but mostly I like a story to hold it all together and you
seem to have the knack. So.. thank you, and please, write some more. Regards, Shirley

Montana Skies Another Man's Baby

"Hi--I just got the chance to finish reading Another Man's Baby. I loved it! You are sooo good with character development. Your characters always behave and think like real people with real issues. And I always seem to cry at some point in your books! I'm going to try to get my daughter to read this one since she just had a baby. I think she could identify with your heroine's fears etc.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it and I can't wait until Luke's story is released. I can see why you win awards!" Lisa

"You are a wonderful writer. I read His Son's Teacher and Another man's baby from The Tulanes of Tennesse series. I just love to read your books." - Elda

Montana Skies His Son's Teacher

"My name is Regina but on the eharlequin discussion board I'm known as Lady Diva Regina and you recommended your book to me because as a plus size woman I am constantly (but not lately) harping on more plus size heroines on the boards.

I really enjoyed the book and I just wanted to thank you for suggesting it to me. You're the first author to ever do that and I really appreciate it. It makes me feel like someone is listening to me on the boards and taking me seriously. You have gained a new reader.

Thanks again and remember if you haven't already please make sure you vote!"

Regina
aka
Lady Diva Regina

"Kay - I just finished "His Son's Teacher" and thought I'd write to tell you how much I enjoyed it. You've done such a great job of portraying the characters that I can't wait for the other Tulane books to come out.

"Your book should be read by chubby women everywhere because it's even better than a great story---it's a cheer or an anthem that shows that they, like Jenn, are worth it. Thanks for recognizing and telling that to the world." - Sheila

"I am so glad that I took Nalini Singh's recommendation and read your book. I about lost it (in hysterics) after I read the first question and exclamation of the book. What a great way to start a story. I have a just-turned 9 year old boy who is very mischievous and struggles with a learning disability too. I loved the story and it was so much fun to read. Great job!" - Natascha

"Hi Kay. I just finished the last two Tulane books before your story about Luke and I loved them. Two more winners to add to my keeper ROOM. That's right alot of readers have a keeper shelf, I actually have a room sized collection of keepers and yours are there now." - Mary

"I just wanted to tell you that I loved your book, His Son's Teacher. I don't normally write fan letters, but this book stood out and touched my heart. It is so refreshing to find a book with a less than perfect heroine, and a hero who can see beyond superficial appearances. You created a very believable story, where the emotional wounds of both characters balanced and complimented each other perfectly, and drove the development of relationship, to where it was a given that Jen and Nick were truly meant for each other.

"Keep writing great stories like this! I look forward to reading more of your books in the future." - Susan

"Okay, I've known for months that the next Tulane book wasn't until March, but I'm on the ragged edge with waiting for it! I hope I remembered to email after His Son's Teacher came out and tell you it's one of the best books I've ever read. Her Best Friend's Brother can't come soon enough.

"I also bought The Power of Love specifically because of your story in that book, and I loved yours. In fact, all the stories were quite charming, and I know it's difficult to write a complete story in such a short format. Please just keep writing these great stories--faster and faster, if at all possible! " - Sheila

Montana Skies Her Best Friend's Brother

"Your books hit the heart and many time., I've laughed and cried (especially after Dave passed away last year), and they also comfort me and at times give me hope. I've kept all of them.

Keep writing as you do from your heart, you have a great talent and a way to get to your readers. I look forward to your next book and many more after that." - Linda

"Read your post on the COFW loop where your new book had come out. Oh, my
gosh, I just became a Kay Stockham fan! Just finished ‘Her Best Friend’s
Brother’, loved the story, the twist and turns (some pretty clever ones,
too) and of course the HEV. Guess, I’ll have to build a bigger bookcase." - J.Paulette

"'Her Best Friends's Brother' is the first book I have read of yours and I will be reading more books of yours in the future. Shelbly and Luke's love was wonderful. Thank you for writing such a great love story for your readers to enjoy." - Leanne

"Kay, what a touching story. I cried when Shelby lost the baby and when
she buried the fawn and had her meltdown. Luke was one stand-up guy, loving
her through it all. The series has been super, I have all the books. Thank
you for the reading pleasure, you are one great writer." - Suzanne

"It's wonderful!! Your heart just aches for Shelby and Luke. From the moment I started reading, I was captivated. Letting go of your past and trusting your here and now is difficult and the journey Shelby takes with Luke rings true and heartfelt. She's just like a fawn - skittish and leery (and spotty ) and Luke's a true hero - strong and steady. Sometime's you really do have to lose something before you realize what you have." - Chris

"I have a lot of friends that read books and tell them all to purchase yours for great reading. There's nothing like reading a good romance nove." - Lucille

"Dear Kay, what a delight it was to read this book. I loved the comedy that you inserted, and the story brought tears to my eyes. It brought memories back to me of also losing a daughter at the age of 26. Not a baby like in your book, but the pain just never goes away. Thank you again for a great read. I have been married for 56 years, and my husband has been ill with several serious things for the last 7. The books I read help keep me going. Reading is a great past time. You are a great writer." - Roxanne

"I just want to tell you how I love your writing. I find myself going to Walmart and not looking at the titles of Harlequin but at the authors if it says Kay Stockham I buy don't even care what the story is about. I know you will not let me down. I am very picky about what I buy because my husband lost his job and I am the only income but I know with your books I get more than my money's worth. One thing, I have noticed that for me the start of a book usually makes it hard to get into that is not the case with your books. I am into it from the first page so I want to thank-you for your writing style. Some of your books have some twists and turns that leaves me with my joy open, I thank you for that!" - Sarita

"Kay, I 'found' you while cruising blogs this weekend, bought your book, loved it! and today have mentioned in a Romance Bandits post. And someone else commented on how much they love all your work, too." - Gillian

Simon Says Mommy Simon Says Mommy

"What a great story, the dynamics were intense. Megan and her flashbacks were just awful, but what a relationship with Simon. Ethan and his OCD tendencies, I'm glad he addressed them... The whole series has been great, with all the different story lines. You have a great talent. Thanks for the reading pleasure." - Suzanne

"I just finished ' Simon Says Mommy'; having read the other three books, they were all 4 just great. You make the people all alive and so interesting. I like to read a series once I have all the books, I miss counted and went ahead and read these realizing on the 4th one that the sister needed her own book, so I am anxiously awaiting 2010 to get the next and final one. Thank you so much for a wonderful town, Beauty and the Tulane family. Looking forward to more of your books." - Metitia

"I loved Simon says Mommy...I really liked how Megan and Ethan didn't jump into bed at the first thing. They really got to know each other a bit first. Her first reaction to him after she was feeling better was priceless.bI can't wait for the next book." - Judy
